Guardian who shields fellow villagers from wolf attacks through protective medical intervention.
Defensive Power
Each night phase, you may choose one living player (including yourself) to protect from wolf attacks. If wolves target your protected player that same night, your medical intervention prevents their elimination. The protection is invisible - neither the protected player nor the wolves know that protection occurred unless an attack was actually prevented. You cannot protect the same player on consecutive nights.
Prioritize protecting confirmed or suspected village roles like Seers, Mediums, or other Doctors. These players provide ongoing value that justifies the protection investment over regular villagers.
Since you cannot protect the same player twice in a row, develop rotation patterns that keep critical players safe while being unpredictable to wolves.
Don't hesitate to protect yourself when you suspect wolves have identified your role or when village needs demand your continued survival.
Work secretly with Seers and other village roles to maximize protection efficiency. Sometimes protecting a Seer for multiple nights is worth more than spreading protection around.
Don't waste protection on players who haven't demonstrated village value. Each protection is precious and should be used strategically.
Keep your Doctor identity secret as long as possible. Once wolves know who you are, you become their primary target.
Don't sacrifice yourself unnecessarily. Sometimes protecting yourself is the best play for village victory.
Avoid obvious patterns that wolves can exploit. Mix up your targets and timing to stay unpredictable.
Sometimes publicly defend someone you're not protecting while secretly protecting a different target to confuse wolf targeting.
When multiple Doctors exist, coordinate protection to cover more players or ensure critical players have backup protection.
Use protection attempts to gather information about wolf target preferences and pack size.
