A mystical villager gifted with supernatural sight who can peer into the souls of others during the cover of night. The Seer serves as the village's primary intelligence gatherer, using their divine ability to distinguish between innocent villagers and dangerous werewolves. This role requires careful strategic thinking, as the information you gather can be the difference between village victory and total destruction.
Primary Power
Each night phase, you may choose one living player to investigate. Your supernatural sight will reveal their true alignment: either 'Village' (innocent villager or village role) or 'Wolf' (werewolf or wolf-aligned role). This information is private to you and forms the foundation of your strategy. The investigation happens silently - the target player will never know they were investigated.
Focus your investigations on players who exhibit suspicious behavior, make inconsistent statements, or attempt to redirect discussions away from logical targets. Avoid investigating players who are already confirmed as village through other means.
Never reveal all your information at once. Build trust by sharing confirmed village results first, then gradually reveal wolf discoveries when you have village support. Use your investigation results to guide voting without immediately claiming your role.
Only reveal your Seer identity when absolutely necessary - when you have critical wolf information that could change the game, or when you're about to be eliminated and need to share your findings. Once revealed, you become the wolves' primary target.
Pay attention to voting patterns, defense behaviors, and who consistently argues against eliminating certain players. Combine this behavioral analysis with your investigation results to build a complete picture of the wolf pack structure.
Never claim to be the Seer on Day 1 or without significant wolf information. Early claims make you an immediate target and waste your potential. Wolves will prioritize eliminating known Seers above all other targets.
Don't investigate players randomly or based on gut feelings alone. Each investigation is precious - base your choices on behavioral analysis, voting patterns, and strategic value. Avoid investigating confirmed village players.
While timing is crucial, don't hold onto critical wolf information too long. If you discover a wolf and wait too long to share this information, they might eliminate you before you can reveal the truth to the village.
Don't establish obvious patterns that wolves can exploit. Vary your investigation targets, don't always defend the same players, and avoid making it obvious who you plan to investigate next through your questions or comments.
Sometimes claim to be a different village role to avoid immediate wolf targeting while still sharing your investigation results. This advanced technique requires careful execution and village coordination.
Work with confirmed Doctors to extend your investigation time. Signal your role to trusted Doctors through subtle means so they can prioritize protecting you during crucial nights.
Once you identify one wolf, use behavioral analysis to identify their packmates. Watch who defends them, votes with them consistently, or tries to redirect suspicion away from them.
